I got some silkie chicks when they where about 1 week old.. I love them all so I don't really care much if they are mixed it won't make any difference but I notices their wing feathers are starting to go straight like normal feathers, any experts on here able to confirm for me ? Tia

I was going to ask this question but you beat me to it! I have three Silkie chicks from two separate hatchings (one is older than the others) and all three have "normal" flight feathers on their wings. So far, no "normal" feathers on their tails. I'm guessing it must be normal for them to have flight feathers, but hopefully someone with more experience will confirm that. Right now my little guys seem to be growing new "coats", they have a lot of pin feathers all over their bodies.

Thanks very much for your replies guys! maybe they are full silkies .. I suppose a few more weeks will maybe tell More.. they are about 4/5 weeks old now

some more photos of them
