Silkie Cochins??

Here is my Silky/Cochin Roo. He has the silky crest and dark skin, but not black feet. Silky comb, and his earlobes are an iridescent aqua with pinkish under tones. I think he's a hansom fellow. His name is Cocky.

So, do sizzles take on the bantam size or the standard size?

they are bantam as bantam cochins were used

actually if u breed for sizzles u get 4 different types of birds. sizzles, smooth sizzles, frizzled silkies and smooth silkies.

sizzles- have barbed flipped back feathers
smooth sizzles- have barbed straight feathers
frizzled silkies- has silkie feathers that r flipped back
smooth silkies just look like nomal silkies

i have now that i think of it seen pics of them before and yes to answer the origional question the first pics posted is how i have seen them refered to silkied cochins. they r suppost to be white skined look like cochins only have silkie feathering.

yes sizzles r bantam. i'll look for pics of some of mine in a few. sizzles r black skined and yes they r showable in aov classes.
