His feathers are very nice, and looks like he has no obvious DQ's, still, I would find a better roo or some VERY good hens if you want SQ. Just IMHO.
 
To me it looks like his worst quality is his comb. It looks to be too red and to lack the pea comb gene to create a true walnut comb, being instead the modified rose comb that is common, but less desirable. Breed to a hen with as perfect and dark a comb and skin as you can.

Old time wisdom says that colour comes from the male and body type from the female; there has been a small amount of genetics research that suggests this may be true. As a whole, however, research into body type is lacking.
