silkie fell in the pool

Thanks,

Just want you to know that I watched the entire video and the part about the silkie with the chicks attacked by the hawk in parts 5-6 made a BIKER cry. Had no idea that chickens are so dang brave. I'm a long-haired, tattooed, hard riding biker that has found himself with a half dozen turkey eggs.

Waiting on my hatch of turkey eggs that was basically dumped in my lap. A friend came by with six eggs saying (can you hatch these?)..I had no idea what to do. He picked me because I have 25 acres of land. To make a long story short I ran out and bought a incubator, LG still air that for the most part has worked pretty dang well. I'm in lockdown now at day 27 now. They will probably take an extra day since I started at 8pm on the 3rd of May and I had a power outage for about 3 hours a week ago. I let the eggs rest and come to room temp with the big end up before I put them in the incubator. On Friday May 28 I had 5 good eggs and put them in lock down. Appeared most are fully formed at candling and the air cell in all five looked real good. One was little small in egg #5. I really have no idea what I am doing other than what I have learned on this forum which is a lot. Thanks so much to everyone here. Lots of info that I have gleaned.

Current temp is at 99.5 and humidity is at 65-70%. I think I'm on the money but lots of apprehension.

Again, I want to thank everyone here for helping me out. If any hatch I will be amazed. I will then need to build a coop, brooder is already done.
