These are 8 week old silkies. I feel like my favorite one is a boy but I’m hoping it’s too early to tell and he’s actually a she. There’s videos of Bop on BYC too. I just don’t know how to link the forum. It’s about her head moving weird. 😅

Is it too early to tell? I know they’re hard to sex, and I’ve never owned silkies, but everything looks like streamers to me. But that could just be me seeing things.
Streamers are long and flowy, they come out from the crest and extend farther down. That's the best description I can come up with.

8 weeks can be early - especially for silkies and I don’t want to lift your hopes but I can’t see something that makes me think that you‘ve got boys. :)
I always think boys with every hatch until I know for sure. That way I’m prepared to get rid of them since I already have two boys. But I am hoping for some girls here. All boys would be a bummer. Especially since I’m keeping the cross beak baby Beakers. If she’s a he... I’ll have to plan for another roo.
