Silkie Gender Help Needed.

Tell me what you think. And if I need better or different pictures let me know and I will try for some again. Also, if you have an opinion as to why a boy vs. girl can you let me know what features I should be looking for. (Other than crowing. LOL)

I think it is a boy. you said is was pearl colored? never heard of that.... oh wait do you mean white? I am so slow sometimes...

Uh maybe a boy. A hen at that age wouldnt already have a red comb. Unless she's going to lay earlier than normal

Oh it has longer feathers on the back of the head! The males get a "mullet" look. The females just a round puffball on head.
I'd say boy especially since its comb is already turning red!

Looks male, but no guarantees. I am seeing some probable streamers, and a body shape that is rather masculine.

With silkies wattles tell you nothing, and all a red comb will tell you is that the bird is pet quality. BTW, the bird in question has a mulberry coloured comb, not red. Darker (such as black) is better, but the colour is has is acceptable. Females tend to have darker combs than males.
