Silkie gender

One of our silkies is starting to make me wonder if it is a he. I think he's getting some streamer feathers on his head and the wattles are so much bigger than the other two we have. Thoughts? I don't really know exact age. Maybe 3-4 months?

Are the other two NON bearded like this one? Post pics for comparison.

It does look like it might be a cockerel. But the bearding gene inhibits waddle size. Since he isn't bearded large waddles are common. Nice color on his comb for being white.

I'm going to say pullet But Silkies are harder to sex, best to wait for the crow or egg. My Daughter bought 2 Silkie Cockerels from a very reputable breeder, think they were about 3mo ... She ended up with a pair & now have 3

Compared to your other silkies, it does definitely look like a cockerel.

Thanks. He's definitely the smaller of them and not quite as.... Pretty? He's the bottom of the pecking order. I'll wait for a crow. I heard that they're slow to mature but dang they sure are slow. My OE rooster of the same age has been crowing for weeks!

With the streamers and larger wattles, it looks like a cockerel to me.
