Leave them be for a few more daysOk guys I am really stressing out i have 10 Silkie eggs on lockdown today is day 21 and I have no pips!! I can see movement in 2 and air sacs look great in all....why aren't they pipping?!! My temp and humidity is perfect and has been constant throughout incubation. What should I do?
Adorable chicks, I collected my first silkie egg yesterday for hatching. I want to get at least 4 more eggs from her but she doesn't lay a lot and eggs can only be stored for about 10-14 days until viability goes down, and in that amount of time she would only lay about 2 more eggs, maybe 3. Not to mention I'll be incubating them along with pheasant eggs, so I want to start the chicken eggs at the same time as the pheasant eggs, so I can't wait too long. I could start the chicken eggs maybe a day later because pheasants take about 23 days to hatch opposed to 21 days for chickens.
