Adorable!! So happy all 3 hatched for you. When you take some close up pics, post them so I can see the colors better!

Thank you! My camera isn't working or I would take some nice photos. Two look black and one looks blue. I have 9 more eggs on day 12! I am excited to see what other colors I'll get. The breeder has a Porcelain and a Lavender roo so many of mine should be lavender splits which is cool. I may be getting a few more eggs and a couple chicks from her tomorrow : )

Ok! Papery white is very good, it means all the blood vessels have been absorbed! The chick is almost ready to hatch!

Cute chick! The other eggs aren't doing anything? Sometimes one chick pops out way ahead of the rest.

Did you candle the eggs? Make sure they are fertile and didn't die? Some do hatch earlier and some can hatch a day or two later... You can leave the chick in bator for up to three days before you move it to brooder.... Good luck hope the others are OK...

Hey guys I candled the 2 remaining eggs, one had died and one seems to have a small air cell and be doing nothing such a shame this little chick probably wont have siblings. Can chicks thrive when they are alone? I gave it some small stuffed toys and I am happy to mother it (such a cutie) We have named it Coco Sunny-Beak

Can anyone say what colour it may turn out to be?

Hmmm. You really won't know for sure til the feathers come in, but looks like a blue.. I have a couple that look similar from two weeks ago. Could be splash also...I just had another hatch an half hour ago..

I got 5 Silkie eggs today and put them under a very dedicated Serama broody. I also got 2 chicks to go with my newly hatched chicks... they are just a pile of dark fluff

Put a mirror in with it and try to find some more chicks to go with it. Adorable btw!!
