Silkie Hatch Along Eggs Set 1/30/11 pic of some chicks on day 19

I candled last night at day 7 and have 12 of 14 silkie eggs developing! I saw bouncing baby chicks! One was infertile and the other had a blood ring.

My other eggs (mutts) are doing well too. I pulled 8 out, 7 were clear and one had a blood ring. This left me with 13 mutt eggs and 12 silkie eggs for a total of 25 developing nicely.

I just put my Show Girl/Silkie eggs in lockdown. I'm so excited. I don't have any of these nor have I ever and I am ready to encounter their little personalities

. These are partridge and I think she included a couple of whites too. I can't wait. I've not been this excited about a hatch in a long time.

Today was a bad day the bator got up to 106 for a little while but i has happened before.

Well today is day 9 and so far just 3 are gone.And i think that i will fire up the other bator i have 26 silkie eggs since monday so i think it might be time.

I have 12 going into lockdown tomorrow!!!!!

I have candled and prob only 8 have chickies moving around! Good luck to you guys, have to sit on my hands from here on out cuz I so want to open them up and look lol

I had 8 out of 9 shipped eggs hatch. I was very happy.
