I was thinking about you the other day and was wondering how Nugget was doing. I am so glad to hear he is doing better!!! Keep up with the protein. It is so hard to know exactly what they need, so all we can do is experiment.

I would stick with the infra red lamp too. I use those in all hospital cages and brooders and find that they themselves can heal birds from all kinds of things. Infra red has a way of penetrating the deepest layers of skin and really boost circulation, where as white lights stay on the surface and have a tendancy to burn. Circulation is everything...carries all the oxygen and healing properties to the ailing areas of the body. I won't use any other type of heating light.

Thanks for the update!!! And keep us posted. I really hope you can turn this little guys life around to the point of no more seizures or at least far and few in between.

He gets the infared light and a hard boiled egg every night. He seems to enjoy it. He loves the hard boiled eggs. Thank you so much for tour support. It's so nice to have someone supporting me through this.

So I put the bunny in with Nugget. He never pecked at her but I thought he was going to. He actually got up and was trying to get to her when she escaped the pen.

Sounds like Nugget is doing better these days! Is he still having his episodes? Looks like he is a nice bedroom set up. You have been so good for this bird. I hope he continues to thrive and that you do decide to keep him! Keep up with the infra red lamp. That wavelength of light is a really healing light.

He still has his episodes but he's walking around more. It's almost like he gets a muscle twinge or somethin sometimes. I think he gets bored during the day as well.
