Silkie-Hen or Roo?

I have my speculations from doing research and collecting info on here but I'm new to this whole being a chicken mommy thing and I'm just not sure if my silkie is a hen or a roo. I have no clue how old this little silkie is but it may still be too soon to tell? I have no idea, please help! It's much appreciated.

In my five years of raising chickens, I have found Silkies to be the hardest to sex, especially at a early age. How old is your little silkie?
I once had two black silkies. I initially thought they were both hens, but then found out (nearly a year later!) that one was a rooster. He didn't crow once until about 8-9 months of age.
Right now, your silkie appears to be a hen.

Sorry, didn't notice before that you said you weren't sure how old he/she is. If I had to guess, they look to be at least 4-5 months old.

need to see head forward with crest pulled back to display comb. age would be very helpful as well.

Boy is it hard to get nugget to hold still for a selfie! I had my husband try and help hold while I got a few shots but their not that great. Hope these help!
