I have my speculations from doing research and collecting info on here but I'm new to this whole being a chicken mommy thing and I'm just not sure if my silkie is a hen or a roo. I have no clue how old this little silkie is but it may still be too soon to tell? I have no idea, please help! It's much appreciated. :)

In my five years of raising chickens, I have found Silkies to be the hardest to sex, especially at a early age. How old is your little silkie?
I once had two black silkies. I initially thought they were both hens, but then found out (nearly a year later!) that one was a rooster. He didn't crow once until about 8-9 months of age.
Right now, your silkie appears to be a hen.

Sorry, didn't notice before that you said you weren't sure how old he/she is. If I had to guess, they look to be at least 4-5 months old.
