Not yet, but planning on it sometime.Wow, he’s awfully handsome!
Have you actually shown him before?
I got him from an SQ Silkie breeder as hatching eggs. 3 out of 7 hatched, all Cockerels.

He's from a show winning breeder stock. So technically, he’d be breeder quality until you show him.
Unfortunately they can’t be labeled as show quality until they actually do well at a show.
He really is pretty, but I see some faults in his pattern. But he may grow out of it since he’s still growing.
Out of curiosity, what genders did you feather-sex them as?Not yet, but planning on it sometime.

I didn't sex these guys, I wanted to see what they'd grow up to be.Out of curiosity, what genders did you feather-sex them as?

Yes he's still growing.
Okay.Unfortunately just because they come from show winning stock, it didn’t necessarily mean he’ll win too.
Breeders often cull the majority of their stock even though they came from great lines.
Calico isn’t an ABA/APA accepted color... and, he isn’t calico. He looks mixed color. But I’m not sure. He’s really pretty regardless! Here's another SQ silkie of ours. His name is Porcelain, but he's turning calico.View attachment 1911129 View attachment 1911130
