How often do you hatch? And do you have a big incubator and brooder? You always seem to be popping out chicks!

I've just got the Rcom 10 pro plus which only fits 10 normal eggs and around 20 Quail I think? It's an amazing incubator but just has a small capacity.

I only have a small brooder though. We're clearing out space so I can try and squeeze a bigger one in because I want to hatch more chicks. It's contagious this hatching thing...:lau

I was using broodies. I have to clean out my incubators. Each one holds 56 eggs. These are the last ones I'm hatching this year.
You're incubator sounds interesting.

Oh right!

Your incubator holds quite a few then, the cleaning of them is the iffy part...mine in loads of bits and pieces so it's a pain to clean at times. Mainly around the mechanics of it because I have to use little paintbrushes.

I have used broodies too. My silkies no surprise there! But I can only do it at certain times due to my showing schedule. They're great mothers though.

Yep. If I were to fill both of my incubators with eggs, there'll be a total of 112 eggs to hatch.

I used up a whole large roll of paper towel cleaning out my first incubator. I understand how difficult it is to clean out an incubator.
