Silkie Male or Female?

Hi there,I have a 5 month old silkie bantam which I am very curious to know about its gender. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks alot, great news. And im not sure if its that or she just loves splashing into mud puddles lol. Actually I hatched her myself, she was lucky to be the only who hatched out of 6 eggs.

With silkies there is always a chance, they are notoriously hard to sex when young.

I agree, the only thing that makes me hesitant about this one is that the hair on its head is flat and normally silkie hens would have that rounded hair style on their head

I have an egg laying silkie that has head feathers like that. They got a little fluffier after laying, but it's stayed relatively the same. :/
