I thought it was time to add a few of my birds to the forum. I'm certainly no photographer..so they aren't great. Most of these birds I received from a friend who is caring for her terminally ill husband. I am overrun with Silkie babies, and eggs..but I love them.

Oooooh, I love silkies, and those are beautiful. I have 2 hens, one of which has started laying, and I need to find a rooster for them. But, I'm working away from home right now. I can't wait to get back home to them.

You've got some nice looking whites in there! With some strategic breeding you gould have some GREAT show birds.

I will try to get some pics of some of the babies..perhaps you could all critique them as well..they are just starting to get their poofy head gear..some still look like they have mohawk hair styles.

The one on the right is indeed a George bird, but I bred the one on the left myself. Not a great pix of her. These are better.

She's on the right in the 1st photo and on the left in the 2nd.
