Here's my latest brood from my White Silkie Hens, Black Polish Crested Rooster and White Silkie Roosters. I love the black one with the white eyebrows!
Out of 12 eggs 9 hatched - 5 Black & 4 white chicks. The smallest white chick died at 2 days old, it never seemed to get strong enough to raise its head for long. The black chicks all seem stronger as they have new genes. The whites are interbred. Check out my page for more photos/information about my chickens.
