I have a silkie pullet, about 5 months but she's a bit of a runt. Yesterday she started drooping her wings down low and her walk was like a slow waddle where usually she will full out sprint over to me. I brought her inside away from the other chickens. She had poop all stuck her her bum so I washed it off, she ate a lot of food last night but she is pretty skinny despite having a good appetite. The breeder I got her from had a case of Marek's, but the last ones I got from her are all healthy and that was in may. It has been SUPER hot here so I thought she might be dehydrated? But given her very smelly runny poop I also thought coccidia? My friend has also suggested pasty butt? I didn't see her drink anything so I gave her some water mixed with a little apple cider vinegar in a syringe and she drank some. Her crop is also still full from dinner last night. Anyone have any thoughts? She is also shaking a little here and there and is slightly unbalanced but that could be because her crop is full and her body is so light.
