Still not a great photo because of the downward angle and still not really close and sharp enough but I'm leaning towards it being a cockerel.

Silkies are difficult enough to sex when you have a good photo but if you want an accurate assessment, you need to get better photos! We are still just really guessing from this distance!

Yeah... sorry but they're really hard to sex, I take it she/he's not very tame and won't keep still for a pic?

Looks like a pullet to me. 6 months old, don't see any defining cockerel signs myself.
