Silkie roo or pullet?

We are new to chickens. Batch of silkie chicks and one already has very prominent wattles and comb. Does that definitely mean a roo? She/he is supposedly only 6 weeks old!!

Yes, that is a rooster. Silkie females don't develop such large comb and wattles at this age.

At 6 weeks old.. that would definitely be a boy. Looks like a boy anyway. Looks a lot like a roo I got.

That was him at 8 weeks.

Definitely a rooster, with that red of comb/wattles at only six weeks.

I'm sorry to add this, but the little buff in the left corner also looks like a roo, that comb is pretty wide.

Looking at them all now, with your comments in mind, and I have a terrible feeling that only one of the six is a she!
The kids are going to be devastated!
