Hello, I am thinking of getting in to showing my silkies and was wondering if anyone could tell me if he is show quality! Of course I think he is the most beautiful boy ever

To me, he looks pretty good quality. He's not too tall, and seems to be fluffy enough and have decent type. Does he have five toes?

Does he have blue ears? Are his wings tight to his sides? I don't see a lot of streamers - you know you sure it's a boy?

General Questions

Does your silkie have slate/ black feet.
Does your silkie have a black or mulberry colored comb?
Is his comb a walnut comb?
Are his eyes brown - black ?
Does he have feathered feet?
Does he have five -nailed- toes (The third toe is usually accepted if it doesn't have a nail on both feet)
Are his fourth ad fifth toes webbed together? (I don't know if this matters...but we've had a few that way)
Does he have a beard?
Are his ear-lobes blue?

Also...
Check his weight and make sure he's not too skinny. My brother lost one year because the hen was broody and her chicks hatched the day of the fair! Because of that, she was underweight. But it was our first time having a broody hen, as well as the first time we showed.
