Hi my name is Jessie and i'm newbie i was just hoping i could get some edvice on my silkie rooster he is 1 year old and i got him about a week ago and he still hasent tried to mate with any of my hens? do you think there is something wrong with him? HELP

i don't think so. i think it is normal for him to wait until he's comfortable around the other chickens before he's ready to mate with them. lets hope some other people chime in, just to be sure i'm right. I'd say wait two months before freaking out, but that just my opinion.
