SO adorable, beautiful bird too!!!❤❤❤ Happy Thanksgiving my dear, enjoy your day!!
You are so welcome,Well, Thanksgiving has passed, it's been a challenging year but there have been many many beautiful and wonderful times, things, and moments. Thank you @TwoCrows for hanging in there with me through it all!
Heading for Christmas now! I have some cute little silkie eggs in the incubator and a chance at a less stressful job (yay!).
We picked up Smokejump a sweater, he is totally spoiled, but he did not approve and figured out how to squirm right out of it

We picked pecans, lots of pecans at the in-laws! My hubby can shell them leaving the nut completely intact, it's really cool!

Toby looks regal in his sweaterYou are so welcome,I have enjoyed tagging along on your journeys with birds and life, and you have definitely brightened my path this year with your friendship. ❤
Smokejump doesn’t look too pleased in his new sweater. Its a pretty sweater too Cats! Cats just hate sweaters, I just don't know why!
Now dogs on the other hand, they tolerate them so much better. I got Toby this Santa Fe style sweater off Etsy, I have a similar jacket so now we both are styling together!

Beautiful baskets of nuts there, so festive! Are you going to use them in baking? Even in decoration they are nice!
That is a cute Chocolate Fuzz! How are the Chocolates doing now? I bet they are growing big! ❤
Well, hopefully your job atmosphere is settling and the stress levels aren't too high these days. Your current hatch should keep your mind in a good place though. When ever you need a break, just think "incubator eggies"!Wonderful way to balance your life with work and play!
Have a lovely week ahead! Give your babies some lovin' for me!![]()

Ooh...cinnamon rolls sound delicious! Especially home made cinnamon rolls. I used to do a ton of baking, pies, cakes, breads, cookies, etc... not so much anymore, I should get back into it though. Problem is, is that it's just us two, me and the hubby. We really don't need to eat so much bakery.Toby looks regal in his sweaterI bet you two look great together with your matching coats, that's awesome
We've cracked and eaten some pecans raw, I made cinnamon rolls this morning (we took the day off and he requested cinnamon rolls for breakfast last night) so I cracked a bunch of pecans but not soon enough to get them in the rolls, so we ate them on the side. I'm planning on making a pecan pie with them, I don't skimp on pecans in the pie, I use pecan meal to make a gluten free pecan meal crust (it tastes sooooo good), then the filling is just stuffed with pecans as well.
The chocolates are doing well, Frida is pretty much the same size as the other pullets, Freya is a little smaller but seems to be healthy.
I'm excited to have the eggies to distract me from the stresses of work. I'll meet my new boss tomorrow, I'm expecting more changes to come, I'm not sure that they will leave me reporting to the new guy long term, he won't be stationed at our facility forever, just at the start. He has a dual CEO and COO role, I'm feel they will add someone between us.
I like baking, it can be a great stress reliever too. It is hard to bake in small amountsOoh...cinnamon rolls sound delicious! Especially home made cinnamon rolls. Glad your birds are doing well! I can't wait to meet your new babies, I think this hatch will be good for you, keep your spirits up. Good luck with the new boss meeting tomorrow.Try to take everything in stride, and keep breathing. Shallow breathing causes the body and mind to stress.
Have a wonderful quiet evening!!❤
I just adore your birds!I was able to let the silkies out today for a bit and get some photos.they are too cute. I was in the shop and started walking back to the house and JetPack saw me and scampered over to meet me, he just melts my heart
His tail feathers have grown more I love how he has the tail fluff plus the twizzled streamers. He's a doll.

Chonkers is looking more and dirty, his leakage is taking over. Hopefully this means he's brimming with chocolate genes to pass on!

Smokejump loves the Christmas tree, we've done minimal ornaments and only lightweight nonbreakable ones at that. He's very fascinated by it and when he gets the zoomies we have to stop him from climbing it.

Nothing wrong with giving ourselves a pat on the back for doing a good job!I like baking, it can be a great stress reliever too. It is hard to bake in small amounts
I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I'm feeling excited about a chance to take two steps back in my job title and responsibilities, it would be going back to a sane work load and a job I'm really good at. I always thought I was just average at what I used to do, but in reality, I have a unique skill set that is hard to come by. So, I'm not much on being boastful, but I was darn good, in 2020 I pulled off multiple miracles, went through the covid shutdown for 10 weeks, restarted everything in July and 3 weeks after restarting had my deadline moved up by 3 months. Go live went from Jan 2021 to Oct 2020. My bosses boss told me I had to be successful at it because my success would be the sole reason all of the North America team would get a bonus, if I missed my deadline, no one would get a bonus. We got our bonus.
So, I am very hopeful my stress level is going to decrease! And, I am excited about this hatch too! I'm hopeful more eggies will have development when I check tomorrow![]()
