At five weeks, Max has a pretty large developing comb, so I hate to say it but...I think he's a cockerel. I could be wrong but for a comb that large at 5 weeks is usually a boy sign. Hopefully your other one is a girl!

It's possible... I need to give my hens a genetics lesson so they start passing on their W chromosomes.

I'm pretty sure Grinch in a cockerel, this was taken at 3 1/2 to 4 weeks. This is a brown EE x white silkie chick.

I remember one hatch I did, I got maybe a few pullets and what seemed like 10 cockerels. Another time I ordered chicks and I got three hens and then 5 roosters. You just never know

Here's the rest of him, I think he's going to be super colorful and pretty, it looks like he'll have a little crest too, and he has 5 toes on each foot.
