Silkie Sexing!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone can tell what sex these are..We have no idea and they are about 6 weeks old or so...I know silkies are hard..In recent days 2 of them have like feather like things sticking out the sides of there heads horizontially are these the "streamers" that I hear mentioned? and is this an indicator of a male.

Judging by their crests I would say 1 is a girl 2 is a boy. But 1 does have a wider comb, so it could be a boy. If you are breeding silkies, once you get to know your line you can tell around 5-8 weeks what sex they are, some though are still tricky.

in my second pic posted above those are streamers. longer feathers in the crest

To me number 1 looks like the boy and number 2 looks like a girl. Number 1 looks like its got streamer feathers coming in on the crest and is developing a wider comb. Number 2 has a fluffier afro crest.

I agree with Dragonegggs I think #1 looks more roo and #2 looks more hen!
