Hey! I have 6 lovely silkie chicks and I'm *pretty* sure I have 3 females 3 males but I was wondering if you lovely people could give me your opinion

White Silkie no 1

Black Silkie no 1

Partridge Silkie called Skittles

Black Silkie called Jinx

White silkie no 1 and black silkie no 1 look like roosters, white silkie no 3 might be a male too. Skittles is a girl and for the younger ones you might have to wait a bit longer.

Pretty much what I thought thank you the 2nd black silkie is exactly the same age- only jinx is younger. I think the 2nd black silkie is a girl... I really need names!! Thank you

Skittles and jinx look like your girls and the very last one I'm not sure. The ones above skittles look like they will be your boys. You had better luck than me! I had 3 Roos out of 4

Crikey!! I'd be happy with a 3/3 split... Pretty sure the black one at the end is a girl, she was actually the first to hatch yet smaller. Hasn't got the swept back look the other 3 have

They're 8 weeks- the little one is 7 weeks xxx

Does this look like a roo? Also, is this a splash silkie? I was under the impression that splash silkies were bluish/gray in color with black splashes - this is white with black. Thanks.

Looks like a Roo to me and no not a splash or a paint, Looks like silver Patridge bred with a white silkie.
