Does this look like a roo? Also, is this a splash silkie? I was under the impression that splash silkies were bluish/gray in color with black splashes - this is white with black. Thanks.

I think this one looks like a roo. Can't be 100% sure though- silkies are hard

I have just hatched some light sussex cross silkie chicks, this may sound stupid, but if they look more like their father...would it make them more likely to be males?

I have three, I am unsure on exact ages, but they are between 6-9 weeks old. The black is the oldest, blue and white are younger. The blue wasn't happy about being a model, sorry for the blurry pics, I understand if you can't tell from those. Here they are:
