10 weeks old- click for bigger sizes of course. Same girl I posted earlier- this was the facebook picture. She's a pullet right? Oh god if she's not I am gunna be heartbroken and curse myself for buying her D: I'm so afraid I made a bad decision in getting her. Her name was Desiree, but it'll be Sunflower now.

Okay, I have 8 silkies. The black ones are supposed to be 4 girls, one boy (which I believe to be the second to last one), the white ones, I have no clue.
The black ones are minimum 6 weeks old, the whites are 7 weeks old. Trying to get pics of these little ones is like trying to nail jello to the wall!! lol!! Thank you in advance!

Not sure on sexes, but it looks like you have a lot with single combs, those are a DQ.

are they just too small still or were the pics bad? As far as the combs, I'm not too concerned because they're pets, not show. Will breeding them with a walnut comb silkie give the chicks the walnut comb?. I'm just really hoping the lady was right about the sexes. I'm really hoping for more girls!!

They are too young to sex! The lady you bought them from would only be guessing. I would nt even attempt to sex a silkie before 16 weeks. There is a 50% chance she will be correct.

I had 2 of my sexed correctly by 6 & 7 weeks. And the others by 10 weeks so it is possible..

These are just my guesses. I'm new to sexing silkies, so I'm kind of curious to see how close I'll be.
