i have no idea as i never owned sikies before. but it actully depends somettimes on the breed, but my roosters started at 3-4 months, and also some at 1-2 months. it is like "tat-te-tee!" it goes like that for mine. but loud. pretty nice tet-te-tee to heaaar! some start very late. my barred rock started whne he was 2 years

thats what made us think "she" is a not laying hen.

my silkier will be 5 months this month. I have heard him make a sound that I thought was a crow but my mother said it was just a cluck.

silkies are the hardest breed to sex and figure out ever!!!

Some take longer to find there voice. Mine usually start between 4-6 months. I have a light sussex that started , trying to crow at 6 weeks. Silkies have a screechy crow.
