I have two silkies that I'd love for you guys to take a guess at. They are both roughly 3-4 month old. I included front & side views of the 2 in question. Thanks so much!

Looks like a rooster to me.

Probably is. I've had the worst luck getting females from this particular hen. I gave away 5 roosters this past summer : /

I hatched 7/7 Silkie roosters last spring. I'm still giving them away.

Wow 7/7 that's crazy. I had five and two were getting picked on real bad so they had to go. Plus the crowing was non stop.

Yep, I have a total of 13 roosters right now and all the crowing (even though 4 or so are 'subordinates' and don't crow) reminds me that I still have to cut down to 7. The Silkies have incredibly shrill crows. Fortunately they all get along well for the most part. The worst scuffle occurred in the fall when I let them out to free-range. Cooped up in the winter, they're all fine.

hehe I thought so, I have my thoughts from watching them and this helps me get them down for tracking as they grow. I've been right so far with my other silkies and its all just a bit of fun
