Pullets or Roos?

Well Gilligan is cute anyway but I wish he coulda stopped with the mixed signals same age holds tail lowest of all six of them smallest size wise doesn't act rooish at all and his comb is about a third to half the size the ones I know are boys. Oh well I love him to pieces and he follows me like a puppy dog.

Hi everyone, I want to show silkies and have a few questions about their feet. I have heard it doesn't matter if the forth and fifth toe have a Y shape or a V shape. V shape meaning skin (like a webbed foot) between the two toes. The toes still have space between them but are connected by this piece of skin. Is that a DQ?

I'm willing to attempt these younguns lol; if anything, so in 5 months you can come back and tell me if I was dead wrong ha-ha

The lighter one is a cockerel, and the smaller darker one is a pullet

This is what I am hoping!!! the bigger one certainly acts like a cockerel!! I will let ya know when I start getting eggs or crowing!!

Here's some more photos...any guesses. I know they're still young. Seems like the splash just isn't growing.

The wait is killing me. This is Marley my paint silkie. About 6 weeks old. "He" is much larger than my other slightly younger chick. I don't have a ton of photos but can take more. May be too early still. Hoping for one of each. My other is a splash.

Can I get some help with mine please?

Ooooh a whole flock; I'll try to keep them straight lol ;)
The splash/ blue is a pullet... Cool looking black puff on her head, pretty coloring :)

Looks like one white cockerel and one white pullet...

The Buff us obviously a roo...

The Partridge is a roo too, but you knew that... He's pretty too!

This is Banana she/he is a silkie, but not 100%, and she is 3 months old, hatched July 18. I don't care if she/he is a boy or girl, I am not under any restrictions for either. I would just like to know if she will lay an egg or crow one day. Thank you. [/quot I would guess cockerel.
X2
