silkie sexing

I am just posting my frizzle. 5 to 6 mo now and not crowing, however my silkie is a roo and has been crowing for two weeks. The other day frizzle was heard clucking very loud besides the honk that you would normaly hear swearing it was a goose lol very small crown can barley see it.

The white silkie, just started to crow, Amazing how fast the head and wattles changed recently as well as the head spikes. I was wondering what to do now. My pellets have a alpha pullet, she does a great job. The silkies were added later and are still young. Should I build a separate housing for the silkies. Right now they all get a long very well and the rooster silkie is very mellow so far. I really don't want to breed. Is it okay to remove the female and male silkies to their own coop? Or just leave things alone while they are working?

hello all! I have new pics of my 4 silkie chicks...hatched out by my silkie couple!
I'm going to make one post per chick so as to avoid confusion..
These chicks are 7 weeks + 2 days old.
First up is Sammie; Samuel if cockerel, Samantha if pullet.
Thanks in advance.

So is Sammie a Samuel or a Samantha?

Pst # 2 is about chick #2...This is Lou, or Lula.

These are the only pics that came out clear. On these, and on any others, plz let me know if I need to post more/different pics :)

The final set of pics!
This is Noni/Nona, who is the darkest of the chicks, looking blue (I hoe the color stays!)
I really appreciate eveyone's time and possible gueestimates ! :)

Regardless of gender, they are all precious and staying with me! The idea of knowing "ahead of time" than the usual crow vs egg test, will help me to organize and plan for their futures in a safe and unhurried way. If it happens that I need to add to my mini-flock to balance the genders properly, I'd really like to get started soon. In my area silkies are hard to find, and when found they are quite pricey...so with the extra planning time I feel I could do right by my flock and get the chickens that each of them deserve and also that I like, visually and behaviorally!
Thanks so much!!!

Hi everyone! I have two five week old chicks, one splash one dark gray and I need some help with their genders. Thanks!
