It happens sometimes. I believe they call it lobster claw. It's not a good thing if you are wanting to show or breed your silkie, but if it's just a pet then it should be just fine. Someone pls correct me if I'm wrong. I've only been keeping silkies for about a year

At 16 weeks Im guessing you have 2 pullets! Ive been wrong before tho. Do they act like pullets?

My silkie is about 15 weeks any ideas? It's smaller then my rooster silkie (who crowed) the same age!

Well no crowing or eggs but nothing screams rooster yet..

Hi I have 2 red strait run silkie chicks they are just gaining there little wing feathers when they are older I will post some pics of them and I know I need to post a pick of there body ,comb, and feet any thing else I would need to post?

You said it perfectly. Once those feathers grow in around it, you won't notice it all. Great pet quality.
