Yea there are lots of those around too!u could be right. need to see some feet ? guess I was just thinking silkie....with the red in its comb and the feathering, I was pretty sure it wasn't true silkie.
I would guess you have a pair and that your white is a too. But I'm not certain. Maybe post new pics in a couple weeks.I have some updated pics of our two fluffies now, still pretty soon, I know. I guess they are around 7 weeks now however am not sure about this. If anybody can give me a better idea of their current age (see pics below) would be great.![]()
They are both very 'active' so it is hard to get good and sharp pics, this is the best I could do for now. (They had a day out in my veggie patch on the weekend, the bird netting was originally designed to keep birds out, comes in very handy now as we are currently still working on the chicken run)![]()
The next one is in the brooder, not a good picture I know, this is just to show their stance. At least this is pretty close to their usual body posture.
The partridge one is slightly bigger than the white one (~318g vs 380g) however the white one is fluffier (not sure if that means anything).
Thank you for an update on your guesses. Still hoping for two girlsso even if all you can tell me now is that it can still go either way I'll be happy

Also please tell me what you think about their age.
Cheers Trish
Thank you for your guess, I will keep posting pics as they grow (patience is not my strong side so I really want to know asapI would guess you have a pair and that your white is a too. But I'm not certain. Maybe post new pics in a couple weeks.
I posted this in breed and gender thread but figured I'd try here too.
I have 4 silkies, approximately 5-5 1/2 months old. Trying to determine sex, thanks in advance! Sorry we've had rain the last few days and everyone's a little muddy.

And this little one is 11 weeks old, it's a barred rock and I thought it was a roo because of the light markings but I'm not sure anymore. The last picture is the little one with another one of my barred rocks, he's definitely a roo and the same age. I didn't order any bantams but I'm thinking it must be, though all the chicks were the same size when I got them at 1 day old. It's hard to see in the picture but the little ones comb and wattle are pale
