silkie sexing

I'm going to guess cockerel on this one.

I figured so much. I have 2 same age both white. The other has the same tail but crest is a little smaller but they like to cheat bump a lot and even with the known cockeral bantam cochin that's also 10 weeks. I've just been holding out hope that at least one was a pullet.

Hi everyone, I have a few silkies I would like to see everyones opinion on their gender.

This is one that was suppose to be a 8 month old hen that hasn't started laying yet. I havn't noticed it crowing either. My issue is I noticed it had a little more comb than I thought it should have but that wasn't to alarming until it is now red. I didn't think a hen could have a red comb?

I have 2 buffs that are hard to tell apart, I was leaning towards one pullet and one roo but just not sure. I believe they are 3 months old

#2

Then I have 2 white bearded about 3/4 months old, I again think I is a pullet and 1 is a roo?? First 3 pics is possible roo and the last 4 the possible pullet??

My hen has a red comb but I lean toward roo on this one because the head poof isn't full and rounded. It seems it should be fuller at this age if it is a pullet.

I would say the second is a pullet, the first I lean pullet also but it is still early. The first one has a large comb and looks like my hen. People told me when I posted the pic here that she was a roo. She squatted two days later and along came an egg within a week.

I'm not an expert. Just comparing to my own silkies. See my suggestions in red on pics.

My guess is 1st white = roo, buffs= 2 pullets, last whites= 1st a roo, 2nd pullet

The odd thing on the first white pic is it lets the boys breed her without a fight and stands and shakes feathers after just like my other hens. I feel its a roo but just odd. I know its not good quality but thought I would hold on to it if it was a her but no way if its a roo.

Is this black silkie a female it was hatched 12/31/14. Thank you for any input you may have.
