pennie1~~you can mix Lavender with Buff to get Porcelain

blaundee~~I use the bandettes on my Silkies. I cut off about 1/3 inch, then round the corners of both ends. When I apply the leg band, I just make sure I'm not closing any feathers in the band. The bands, once in place, have not appeared to harm any of the feathers....of course, it's hard to see the bands. For me, it's definitely a 2 person job.
