Eee! I'm subscribing to this thread just to look at all the beautiful little silkies

I don't have any of my own yet

But soon! Hopefully I'll end up with some beautiful splash silkies

The people I'm getting them from have black/blue/splash in one pen, all of my favorite colors, but splash is easily my favorite of them all!

Here's my boy Lily, he's about 10 months old... of course we thought he was a girl when he was little hence the name!

He never wanted to be renamed...

He's a very sweet roo, very well balanced and friendly, takes good care of his girls!

This is our hen muppet, some of you 'may' notice she's in the BYC calender this spring.

I'm planning on hatching some of her and Alpha's chicks this spring. Or as soon as someone goes broody!

These are my sliky chicks...

I dont know why theres an odd colored one... the breeder had ALL white birds. And has never hatched a darker one. She said she just thought he was not as fluffy ( so you saw his skin more) now he's darker than when I got him.

I only have one silkie and he's a rooster. His origional name was lulu, until he started crowing, then he was just Lou. He's really funny because he's so small but he trys to mate with my big New Hampshire Reds and he can't reach. It makes me laugh
