Silkie thread!

Sorry for intruding into this thread, just wanted to post a few pics of some Buff Silkies that I hatched and raised earlier this year. Im thinking its a pair as well, so lucked out there. These guys are 10 weeks old yesterday. Hope you guys enjoy.

Very nice chicks! Such clean color! I don't see any smut. Thanks for sharing!

The little pullet is really nice, think she will turn out ok. The little cockerel has one small smudge of black in the tail, but its not a whole feather, just the end of one. Maybe it will moult out. The mother to these birds is very nice also. Very clean Buff with no other color bleeding through. She has great toes and nice crest as well. Actually hoping the little cockerel is nice, if not I will be searching for a decent Buff male.

SHe is lovely, but does not look like a dark splash. Her colour is correct for splash.
