I never thought I would know anybody else who lives in Kern Co. I used to live in Ridgecrest, both on and off base.

We had a group of ladies from the base come to our retreat several years ago. What a great group they were!

She looked so dark compared to her mate, so I referred to her as dark and her mate as light.
They're only pets, so doesn't matter either way.

I think he's about 5-6 months old. I think he'll be real nice once he matures. Can't wait to hatch chicks from him next year.
