It wasn't the streamers, it was the stance. The wide breast. It could go either way.

Ahh. well I have some very wide girls. Partridge are pretty easy to tell from an early age boys/girls by their coloring. she was definately a girl though!

Definitely a hen.
Your types (American) are so much different from ours (European).
Is also what I try to bring in our European Silkies, that American look. Just beautiful.

and here's Malibu a white silkie pullet who has layed 2 eggs so far! These are my first banties and i love them! They are adorable and soo sweet!

I only let them out of their pen when i'm watching them

Here is my first girl again...she does look boyish...I think it might be her crest and she is my only non bearded hen...but she came from the same batch of eggs.
