Silkie thread!

I'm eggcited!!! I just heard that I may have some very nice Silkie eggs close to being on the way. The breeder I've been hoping to work with has just contacted me and said her crew is up and running. Eggs AND chicks are shipping!!!! (I've ordered a dozen eggs - 4 whites, 8 blue/black/splash.)

That is awesome! Are the eggs shipping in the same box as the chicks? I've often thought that would be the safest way to send eggs!

And my black rooster... His crest is a little bigger but its pushed back from drinking

His legs and feet are very dark and lots of feathering on his feet and legs, nice toe spacing.

Ill be selling eggs and chicks from this pair and the splash hens mom when the pullet starts laying.

I love your pullet!!! Splash is my favorite any way. I hope you get some really awesome babies!!

How big can silkies actually get. Some of mine are a good 3 or 4 inches taller than others. They are all 10 months old .

plus they only weigh silkies in the natinonals right
