They are here! I am so excited!!! Here are some pics of my new babies! Chicken math got me and I got more roos than I probably should have but they were all so cute and free so how could I say no? They weren't all free, LOL but I got a bargain. All 12 of these beauties for under $100. They are all a year old or less and so sweet and tame! I absolutely love the showgirls.

The paint boy is a bit of a bully and he is picking on the white showgirl baby in pic one. The white showegirl looks like a hen but acts like a roo and he/she is absoluetely my favorite. He comes to me and wants to be held. :) May have to seperate the 2 little ones until they get bigger or give away some roos.

He's really pretty and she gave me 2 roos that look like this. She said the gold on his neck was not good for show and it's called leakage.

I love all my fuzzy butts!

Thanks! Does anyone know much about calico or porcelain silkies? She gave me some eggs to try and hatch and they are labeled as mostly all calico. I will have to look up pictures of them. Her's were all beautiful.

Lovely birds! You will definitely need to seperate out those older boys, keep a watch on them that they don't try to mount the smaller/younger birds because they can seriously hurt them if their big butts try to mount and mate young pullets or even cockerels (dominance thing) who are smaller and the bones more fragile.

The black and gold boys are beautiful and yes thats called leakage, if you had partridge I'd say hold onto the one with alot of gold leakage (some I know call them red-necks lol) and use for partridge breeding.

I'd hold onto the paint roo and use him over any white and black girls (silkie or showgirl) you have to try to breed for more paints.

I see you have numerous blues so i would hold onto the blue cockerel I think i seen in one picture with the paint roo and use him with your blue girls to get blue and splash offspring.
