Silkie thread!

Thanks again for the feed back.. Scared I was thinking peaches was a boy too... She/he just looks really rooster -ish close up.... I think it's her/ his neck feathers.. Sigh... But I think I may wait till replace.. I hate to return peaches and she then end up being a real she :/ she acts really hen-ish. But maybe she/he is soo attached to nugget that it does whatever she does lol is that possible?
As far as biscuit I got one not sure one pullet she only worrys me becaue she fights with struedel... Would a girl chick fight with a roo? Is that normal? Why are yall thinking struedel is a boy? Is it cause the crest s swooped back....

Again thanks a bunch for all ya'lls input. :D

Ooh another question that popped into my head... If indeed peaches is a boy. Is there a need to be concern that he'd fertilize nugget? Haven't seen any mating rituals but then again i'm not outside 100percent of the day.... Peaches or Pit shall we call it lol is going to be 4 1/2 months is that too soon for a rooster to be able to fertilize a hen... We dont no surprise fertilized eggs ... I haven't sold the whole baby chicks hatching to my husband ... Hence we'd have to return.... :/

Lol 100! I'd be going mad wondering which were Roos and which we're not ...

I agree! I'm stressing over SEVEN! And I have to go thru this all over again in a couple months when the second "wave" of youngsters get old enough to sex. Maybe by then I'll be good at it!

I would almost rather wait for the cock a doodle doo than depress myself with the sexing. I know how to vent sex a standard chicken. Bantams can't be any different. Might need a magnifying glass though. Sometimes looking at combs can be confusing, and a whole bunch of guessing.

I'll start with the 5 month old blues and work my way down. Here are a few to start the guessing game.

I'm only going to post 4 at a time.
I hatched out 37 new babies last weekend and another 17 on Wed. and Thursday! I haven't even added them to the count
