Silkie thread!

Yea!!! He's got something desirable about him, besides I think he is the cat's meow, tee hee.  He will probably be my only Roo.  I need to research what color silkies I can get breeding him with my whites, partridge D'Uccle, and sizzle partridge hens.  It will be exciting.  Thanks for your info. :)

If he doesn't develop any color "leakage" around his hackles...he would be great to breed with a black silkie hen. Nice pure black breedings are hard to find. Good luck!

Okay, here you go. He wasn't his normal proud typey self as he was separated from the flock, but you get the idea. He is almost 5 months. Really mature for his age and makes me worry that that comb is going to double in size. I just love his color!

Denise, he is from Catdance porcelain pen. Some  are calling this darker shade lavender partridge.

Anybody have a name idea? I'm drawing a blank...

He is really NICE!

MY FIRST SILKIE EGG IS HATCHING!!!!
That's got to be an awesome feeling

Hey guys...what do you think of my little splash girl? I am thinking of taking her to my very first show on Sept 8...and next to her is Ginger...my little orange frosted girl...both have a great type...tight S shape I think...

Bums in the air!!!!

How gorgeous is this Roo? Stunning, breath taking, drop dead beautiful, lets see is there any other adjective I could use...

What color do you think this silkie chick is? It could of came from a black, blue or cuckoo hen and the roo was either blue or black.

Thw Rookie, I think you have two pullets and one roo (#2) . It would be better tho if you had pics of them facing the camera so we could see any comb on them. It's hard to see blacks with black beaks and dark combs.

I cant tell you which is which cause my computer switched them all up when I transferred them from my phone. This is one of each and ignore the poof, it had been raining and of course, they stood out in it instead of their nice shelter I provided...
