Silkie thread!

A crest does not require a vaulted skull. THey are entirely separate things.

I'm sorry if I get them mixed up. I know that is a no no. I'm new to the silkie world. This is my first go at silkies and chickens period. I've only had them since June of this year. I'm learning very slowly. I have learned that I can't hatch silkies. I've tried several times and failed hence, the hatchery chicks. I was successful at hatching several other LF and bantams, but not silkies. Thankfully, I have found lots of information on this site.

Can any one help me? What color is this. I would also like to know what color they are when they look white with orange leaking through.

I have one like this, they have told me it is a creamsicle, or a "frosted" paint. She kind of looks like a buff partridge paint.

If it has any penciling I would say blue partridge. If not Sonoran once talked about "henny blue". Maybe she will comment on that. Do you know it this is a boy or girl yet?

Metronidazole. Someone thought they had canker but they didn't. I still used it anyway since I bought it and it seemed to help.

Are you talking about topical 'Zole or internal?

I think both look like boys? Just guessing because of the crest.
But better pictures would be better
