Silkie thread!

yeah don't take him to a kill shelter

, there are always so many there there is no chance he would get adopted by "responsible" dog owners before his time is up. If there is a no kill shelter in your town go there, or call the no kill and ask if they take strays from other towns. You should be able to just drop him off and say you found him chasing your chickens.

and since you are online Scaredofshadows, is this blue partridge or regular partridge?

Note: The camera is washing her yellow out - it is more golden than that, but her under-colour is more blue than what I'm used to seeing.

This is the one I am thinking. She is the result of a blue x buff mating. The buff had partridge in his parentage though I believe.
don't see any actual pattern...had quite a few similar to this before when I kept a mixed color flock and the roo was a blue out of partridge (was a dark blue but was partridge as a chick, and a parent was partridge) and he loved my buff girls....lots of similar chicks to her. lol
I called them dirty buffs or others refer to them as sooty buffs.

I've always said this girl was a blue partridge :) way too light and no real black on her you can tell shes got a slate and light blue coloring as opposed to dark blue or actual black

Waiting on a call back from AC, one hen is still out but alive, everyone else has fluffed up and started to look normal again. My roo LFB's neck looks a little longer now since some of his bowtie was pulled out...

But here is a pic of my escapee, Psyco, and that is about the closest I could get to her.

They are all fine, just a little wet still thanks to a storm front moving through.

She was partridge coloured as a chick. :) Either way - she is so cute. We call her mini Steve (who is the daddy). I'm looking to breed for fluffy pets right now. I'd like to get nice type before colour is considered.

Yes, that was my thinking.

One of my young males is definitely black and gold and not light blue like her. He was also partridge patterned as a chick.
