Silkie thread!

I think the aggresor is just jealous of you paying attention to the other rooster. What happens when you pick "tuffy" up? Does the other roo get aggressive.

What temputure outside can hens not warm their eggs enough. It's been plenty warm durning the day but drop down to low 40s last night. Is this to cold and when will it do no good to let them sit

No the other Roo don't care, he's not top Roo tho he's a month younger then the tuff guy. The tuff guy is so sweet to the hen and I really like that about him.
I don't back down I kind of give a good shove.

One of my Roo will will peck and jump at me if I pick up and mess with the other Roo. Is this just normal behavior wanting to protect his flock? Or do you think he's getting aggressive? Any thoughts?

One of my roos (not silkie) does this only if I am carrying another rooster. I think he is attacking what he thinks is the other rooster because the other rooster is too high? And not in the proper pecking order. Anyway thats what I thought it was.

I also go out of my way to make sure he gets a swift kick (not too hard) even if I have to chase him. I talked to a friend though and she said that she 'spins' her roos when they do this which is probably a much better idea. I guess she means spin them on the ground in an upright position till they get dizzy.

I have a hen that has been sitting for about 10 days now. Today she keeps getting off her eggs I keep putting her back on she stays a bit then up again. Is this normal what should I do? Will it hurt how many eggs hatch?
