I have high hopes for this one. It is the absolute fluffiest silkie I've ever hatched. It looks like the Michelin man

A day or two old here.
The hen it came from gave off a lot of vaulted skulls. I got the mother as a broody for $5 - and I'm very glad I did.

Nice! Not to take away from your beauty here, but I had one that was a pretty little fluff ball..let my friend take her/him. I think it is going to be a darker blue than yours.

And speaking of frizzle!!

Just for fun, this is a frizzle cochin..LF..He turned out beautiful..little angel here. He actually
grew up to become a pretty nice roo...

His father was a sizzle (many generations) and his mother was a buff laced polish. I wasn't getting any that looked like him when breeding the father to a regular silkie, so I tried the polish. I think they look really cute. I need to get them smaller, get darker skin and better feet. I think it's attainable. Especially since the crest is quite nice! They both share the same father by the way.

He's my resident porcupine! (missing tail and most of crest in this picture from bullying)

So here are some pictures of this boy/girl. You can see the crest shape,. the comb, the waddles, and the beak curve.
S/he is 3 months and 1 week old. And a total calm gentle love bug.
Again all behavior speaks to a girl [as written above] but the comb and waddles I am wondering about. Sorry we had rain today and this one got a little muddy! S/he had a ball though.

Thanks for the education on the Sizzles and Frilkies? That frilkie of yours is pretty cute. You already know how I feel about George. : I think I am going to try to get a couple of sizzles just for around here no show ones. Ho made ones.
