I'm going to start raising silkies for show. What would be better to raise them in, a coop or rabbit type cages with wire bottoms? Awhile back when I went to buy some silkies from a lady that was selling them she had them in wire cages. All the chicks in one and 2 in another that were older that she was going to sell. The cages took up a whole wall in her sun room but there wasn't birds in every cage.
