How much do ya'll sell your hens for? I have people always asking me for hens.... wondering what the going price should be...

depends on the quality. Hatchery quality I would say maybe $20 max

definitely not hatchery quality. So some from show bloodlines but are pets and then others that are show quality. Seems like it would not be worth it to raise a chick for 6 months to make $20 of it as a hen.... as you know nobody wants roosters

You can get at least $40 for a beautiful rooster. They are half your flock. Do you have any pictures of yoour hens that youo are looking to sell? That is the only way anyone can tell you what to charge.

I'm actually not looking to sell any of my hens at the moment but was just curious what people are charging when they do sell hens. Seems like every time I try and sell a rooster, even though the ad only states I have roosters for sale they always inquire about hens...

I think a lot depends on where you live and if you ship. Around here, I can barely give away roos and people aren't willing to pay much for any bantams.

Thanks Mama2My4 seems that people around me want silkies but they only want the hens...which I'm not going to sell a hen and keep a rooster instead lol

Hoping to get some opinions on this beardless girl. I've never had a beardless silkie before...or seen one in person. She is super sweet. And also, I was looking for the picture on beak sexing...did anyone know what page it was on? Or can someone repost? This one is for sure a girl, but I have some younger ones I'm not sure of. Thank you all!
